Also known as India's Mini Switzerland, is a beautiful hill station located 16 km away from
Khajjar Dalhousie. Khajjar, with a small plateau and freshwater lake, is one of the city's
most favorite tourist destinations. Located in the foothills of the Dauladhar range
of western Himalayas, Khajjar is a rare combination of three ecosystems - the lake, the
pastoral and the forest.
Situated in a vast grassy landscape and surrounded by evergreen pine trees, Khajar
Lake offers tourists a breathtaking view. There are various types of recreational activities
in Khajjar, including paragliding, zorbing and horseback riding. A challenging 14 km trek
meets you through the landscape of the grass of cedar and pine trees and gives you
beautiful views on the way.It contains some ancient serpent idols of the 12th century
and Nagji Mandir depicting the war of Mahabharata.

How to reach: Public and private transportation options are limited for Khajar and
according to the local demands, changes in time. However, you can consider renting
a taxi or two wheeler for Khajjar. This evening gets cold so a car is the best. At 7:15 a.m.
local buses arrive at Khajuraho, which charge around INR 155 and provide you with a
spectacular view of the villages and areas on the way. Taxis are easily available from
the main market.

2.Panchpula
Panchpuli is one of the beautiful places to visit in Dalhousie. Located about 3 km from
Dalhousie, this place is a major tourist attraction. This is a mother's stream which flows
through different parts of Dalhousie, feeding water to many other water bodies.
Panchpula, which emerges from the north of Dayakund, is famous for its spell vista and
also holds historical significance. A tomb has been made as a tribute to the great
revolutionary Sardar Ajit Singh. When it is here, do not forget to taste their delicate
local dishes.

03.Sach Pass
The true pass is located in the true city, which is about 15 km from Kilar in Chamba
district. Located at a distance of about 14500 feet, this pass connects the district
headquarter Chamba with the imposing Pangi tribal valley. This is an extraordinary
trekking trail that leads to the Pangi valley which is the most distant and most
picturesque valley. It is blessed with a picturesque landscape and rugged terrain

04.Satdhara Falls

05.Mall Road

07.Bara Pather
Located in the proximity of Barah Pathar, General Post Office, Dalhousie, Ahla is a
very popular place in the city. Take a short break and do not go to this place when
you are traveling towards the artificial sanctuary. Between the jungle, the twelve
stone is a dwelling place for the ancient Bholwani Mata temple.
This temple is about 60 meters away from Dalhousie's water works. Tantric
representation here attracts innumerable tourists. Here you can appreciate cool
air between hot and sticky summers. There is also a potato farm, which is an
extra passenger place.

How to reach: Once in Dalhousie, you can rent a taxi, car or bike to go to the Bakrota Hills. A taxi will cost you anything from around 800 to 1000. Gives a chance to see natural scenes on the way. Many public transportation options are available at affordable rates.There are buses that often take you around Dalhousie. If you go to Dalhousie on a local bus for Bakrota, you can spend only INR 150 per ticket and you get an opportunity to talk to the locals.

09.Tibetan Market
It is time to explore the Tibetan market in Dalhousie, because we are all happy with the

10.Ganji Pahari
Ganzie Picnic site is one of the unique places to roam in Ganji Hill, Dalhousie.
Located at a distance of 5 km from Dalhousie bus stand, Ganji hill is a small hill
on Pathankot Road. It literally means that due to the absence of any tree or vegetation,
Ganja Hilli.
Ganji Hill offers a panoramic picnic spot and spectacular views of the surroundings.
Someone can camp here and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views of the mountains
with your friends and family. The maneuver areas here make for a magnificent trekking
zone. During the winter, bald hills are covered with white snow and flash like diamonds
that provide tourists a breathing scene.
The level of trek is harder than the middle and it takes about 40-50 minutes to reach
the Ganji hill on foot. It is advisable to take snacks and food together because there
are no restaurants or hotels.

How to reach: Only 5 km away from Dalhousie, Ganji Hill is close to the city.
After reaching an hour's walk from the city center, reach the Ganji hill. If you are
not a high trekker, then you can consider taxi or car / bike rental. Although many
tourist buses are available for the Ganji hill from the Dalhousie bus stop, but their
frequency is low and time is uncertain. Pony rides (on mules) are available, but
they work for recreational purposes rather than transport.
