Dharamshala or the city of Dharamsala is located in the Kangra district at a distance of 18 km from the city of Kangra. Dharamsala is divided into upper and lower parts with different heights. The lower part is the city of Dharamsala itself. while the upper part is 3 km and is commonly known as Mcleodganj. Dharamsala is widely visited by bus stops and a lively market. The city is also home to the Tibetan government in exile. Dharamsala means a spiritual home or place for pilgrims to rest, which is appropriate because so many Tibetans live here. With pre-planning, you can attend one of the Dalai Lama's outdoor training classes. Dharamsala is popular with tourists and travelers interested in yoga.

Dharamsala

Dharamsala is home to the Dalai Lama, a Buddhist leader who
runs his government in exile from Dharamsala. Now, what
could be better on earth than this small town located in the
foothills of the Dauladhar ranges to experience the rich and
regal Tibetan culture. In 1959, the Dalai Lama came to India
with his followers and settled, or rather, decorating the city
of Dharamsala, turning it into little Lhasa. For many years,
Dharamsala has been a center of meditation and peace, and
thousands of people from all over the world come here to
search for Nirvana.
